The Yarn Bobbins are the perfect way to store leftover wool and for winding yarn. They are great for knitting, crochet, weaving, leftover yarn etc and are quicker and easier to use than hand winding the wool/yarn.

You're purchasing:
Set of 6 Yarn Bobbins available in small or large size. They are available in mixed colour choices or a choice of all one colour. Please select your options from the dropdown menu.
Colour options:
The bobbins are available in a mixture of colours which will be chosen at random from our colour supplies or in a single choice colour of blue, pink, white, grey, orange brown or grey. The shades of colours may vary depending on material availability from manufactures.
Bobbin size:
Large yarn bobbins are 85mm x 85mm and 3mm thick
Small yarn bobbins are 53mm x 53mm and 3mm thick
Large Bobbins can hold over 70g of yarn before they start to get to the level of the notch
Large Bobbins can hold bulky weight yarn and lower, although the bulky weight yarn is a little snug when used.
Small Bobbins have a smaller notch and are therefore not ideal for use with bulky weight
N.B. These Bobbins are not recommended for any yarn thicker than bulky weight
Winding Instructions:
To use your bobbins, thread the end of your yarn through the large centre hole, then wrap your yarn between the arms of the yarn bobbin, going directly across the middle. Once you have wrapped it around several times, turn the bobbin 90 degrees and wrap between the other arms, so that you are wrapping the next part perpendicular to the first set of yarn. Continue this process off rotating and wrapping until you are finished.
Manufacture and materials:
The keyrings are 3D printed, which leaves a texture on the top surface and layer lines on the sides.
The plastic used called PLA (Polylactic acid) and are derived from renewable fermented plant starches e.g. corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp.
Postage:
Your bobbins will be packaged in a padded envelope to protect the keyring on it's way to you.
Bobbins will be posted to you second class unless the first class postage upgrade option is selected.
